I love how this whole series has been building and leading to this. 10 years of them loving, and fighting for the cause. I loved how this story, though so brutal and raw, gave us more insight and showed us their fight after where the old story left off. I was really pulled back in by this lengthened and revised story of Minette and Draukir. I didn't think I'd really like this one because I had already read the core part of it in the Auctioned anthology, but I was wrong.
